To Depot, to 2/24 2 Dec 1878, to S Africa 2 Dec 1878, to 12 Jan 1880, Zulu War, to Gib, India, Burma, to UK 1 Dec 1888, final discharge at Brecon 22 April 1890 12 yrs. Re-engaged 11 March 1900 No.2346 Royal Service Reserve Regt, discharged Pembroke Dock 8 Nov 1900. M. Abbegell add 1900 10 Wall St, Ebbw Vale. 1901 census 10 Wall St, Ebbw Vale, Henry Joseph Fuge b.1859 Pontypridd, M. Abigail 5 children, he is a Rail Finisher at Steelworks, 1911 census 19 Hall St, Victoria, nr Waunllwyd, nr Ebbw Vale, Monmouthshire, he is a Labourer, M. Abigail, 8 Children. Henry Joseph Fuge died Sept Qtr 1913, Bedwelty, Monmouthshire, District, age 55.
