Name is Pte Alan (or Allan) Warburton - Peter is his brother.

Not much to add, His discharge was in the Dec Qtr 1887, he was born in 1857 Congleton Cheshire District, the 1881 Census he is in 24th Regt barracks Colchester, by the 1891 census he is living Nantwich Cheshire a Gen Labourer.

Although the pay-list for the Clyde draft does state he was from 1/23rd Regt, he was in fact 18B/870 Allan Warburton from the 1/22nd Regt (Cheshire) WO 16/1552 Oct78/Mar79 list. To 2/21st Regt 17th Feb WO 16/1548 (The collection point for the troops in Ireland).
