Hi All,
Walter Howard Field was born in Stratford London in 1857, he enlisted 4 July 1877 age 20 to 2Dgds, he transferred to 1st Kdgs 18 feb 1879 to S Africa 27 feb 1879 Zulu War, to India 28 sept 1880. Married Emily Hoare April 1890 at Canterbury 6 kids. He was discharged at Gosport 12 Jan 1912 age 54 having served 34yrs. Final rank was Bandmaster of the 13th Hussars. I cannot find any death date.
