Those of you based down in East Devon may be interested in attending a talk I am giving at the Chudleigh Amenity Society on Friday 15th April 2011. It will take place in the Woodway Room at the Town Hall, Chudleigh TQ13 0HL commencing at 7.30pm. The Society (not me!) charges £2 admission for non members on the night.
My talk is "A Tour of the Anglo Zulu War Battlefields" which describes the organised tour I went on last year, around KwaZulu Natal, led by our guide - the Author & Historian Ian Knight. Far from just being a holiday photos show, I explain some of the historical context of the War as well as referring to the various Devon connections with the AZW. Be great to see some of you there, if available and local !

SIR BCP. Sounds interesting bit to far for me. Hopefully we can get some feed back after the event. Good luck hope it all goes well. Will there be artefacts from the Zulu War on display, and I’m hoping you may be posting some photo’s again after the event.
