Wet With Yesterday's Blood Empty
PostSubject: Re: Wet With Yesterday's Blood    Wet With Yesterday's Blood EmptyFri Mar 04, 2011 5:55 pm

Just read the meaning of this term in Zulu Rising! (What a book).

Apparently, when a man had killed, another, he needed to undergo a cleansing ritual to appease the spirits, for spilling another man's blood. Warriors who had not yet undergone the cleansing ritual were described as "inxweleha" . kwaZulu, meaning, in limbo, or wet with yesterday's blood.

Many footnotes which I'm trying to follow up in regard of finding this / these primary sources but it isnt easy when you
dont get many replies . Suspect . I will soldier on ...........
