This is actually a must for anyone that hasnt visited the battlefields, the helicopter shots give such a feeling of the scale of the area fro the heights down to the drift. It shows the fall of the ground and the hidden areas extremely well. As 90th says, well worth having. I dont know about the price because it is available for general shopping o ver the web. I got mine from the RRW museum, very efficient.

Pete. (Admin) Has Ron & Peter's website closed down. Clicked on the link on the left hand side our favourite websites and it leads to this http://www.zuluwars.co.za/index.php

SAS 1 I cant remember, I do know it wasnt expensive. Go to the RRW website shop it should still be listed there. They were really efficient in delivery, matter of a couple of days from Wales to the extreme end of Africa. I would repeat 90th comments its a must have, the aerial shots from the helicopter put the whole battlefield into context.

Hi all. In my opening post on this thread I said its well worth having . I wish to change it to ' Compulsory viewing ' if you have any interest in Isandlwana and havent seen the ground for yourself you need to do yourself a favour and buy a copy . Great that Pete may be able to get the ball rolling so most of you can actually see the area for what it is . cheers 90th.

Received confirmation that Peter & Rons website has been discontinued. It has been running for some years and they thought that perhaps it was getting somewhat stale.
But rest assure Ron & Peter are still around and still play an important part in the subject of the Anglo Zulu War of 1879. And may they continue to do so for many, many years to come.
