| I wrote a fortnight ago that I intended to re-publish and update our article written on the Durnford Papers in the 90s. I was asked whether we would be publishing photographs of the originals alongside the transcriptions and replied that I was awaiting permission from Crown Copyright to do so. I have just been granted exclusive permission to reproduce photographs of Chelmsford's Instructions in full so you can all peruse them at your leisure. |

| Just asking but are these different to the orders published in Dr Greaves Book. This is all very confusing. |

| Hi Eric
They are the same orders, when Julain viewed them they where fully legible, when Dr Grevaes did a few words had rotted away.
Cheers

| Eric Greaves's book leaves a couple of lines out and has some words wrong. The photos will be as the docs were in 1990 when we examined them before they were cleaned up and conserved and are all the more emotive for all that. Have a good Christmas. |
