PostSubject: PC Game: The Drift 1879   drift - PC Game: The Drift 1879 EmptySun Apr 15, 2012 12:47 am

Recently released, Jeff Lapkoff has developed a PC wargame covering the Battle at Rorke's Drift.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

It's a much more intimate game than his earlier attempt at the more operational game entitled "Zulu War"

The game can be setup to use miniatures

or boardgame counters

The setup options for the game allow for some replayability

If you have an iota of interest in playing out the situation, reacting to various events that could have happened, it's well worth a look - you can download a demo on Jeff's site.

I've begun a series of After Action Reports on the battle played out with the game.

It will probably be about 4 or 5 parts. So I will post links to them here:

Part 1

Finally got Part 3 up! It seems to take ages to get all these screenshots uploaded, sorted and commented upon.

Enjoy.
