Who was Adenorff companion ?

Morris says it was Lt Vains

Jackson says it was trooper Sibthrope ( Or something like that )

Chard says it was a Carbineer

Who was the Carbineer who got cut off from the rest, but managed to catch up with Ardendroff near RD. i'm sure it was posted on another thread, just can't remember where scratch

Julian knows as I'm sure he mentions it on the other thread about Adendorff . The name escapes me and dont have time at the moment to check , Sorry .

According to Julian in his work England's sons he states it was possibly W. Sibthorpe NC.

Binns stated unequivocally that it was Sibthorpe but never provided any evidence, so the identity has remained in doubt. It could well have been him...but watch this space, as they say!
