Abraham Nash is fully verified on roll for medal and clasp serving under Captain Henry Humphreys (print error to initials in the published roll by Trevor of Roberts Medals) Crockenden, who sent to South Africa from the Staff Collage and under the command of Major & Lieut. Colonel Frederick Swaine (again an error in initials) LeGrice served in the action at Ulundi 4 July 1879 to great effect against the enemy.
