There has always been much more info on Secretan than many other Colonials , if anything knew was about it'd certainly be seen by many other full time historians , including the one who found it dont you think ???. 90th

His brother signed up with him, so a lot of the info comes from him, interesting read on the description, auction is on the 5th june, watch this space

This medal sold at DNW March 2012 for a Hammer price of £6800 os about £8200 after commission.
I remeber at the time thinking it wasnt that well bid .
Given the estimate it will be interesting to see what difference the letter from his brother makes to the valuation.
With that it makes a great medal . I posted on here photos of his name on the Isandlwana NMP memorial shortly after the auction
