PostSubject: The Boer War   The Boer War EmptyTue Jul 14, 2009 11:07 pm

I’m not sure if anyone is interested, but I thought it might be interesting, to follow some of our chaps into the Boer War.
Therefore I have created a Boer War Discussion Forum. I don’t know much about the Boer War so it will be a learning curve for me. I know some of those that fought in the AZW 1879 Went on to fight in the Boer War, Where some lost their lives.
Please feel free to join if you’re interested in the Boer War.
The Forum is ready, but I will tweak it a bit to make it more inviting.

Someone once asked where do we go from here.

90th the main events of the Boer War would be a good place to start. I would like to know what happened to certain individuals that survived the Zulu War, Only to be killed in the Boer War. And what of those that survived the Boer War. Well maybe we could follow them to the Great War? 1914-18

Nothing like thinking ahead.

For those interested, The Boer War Forum is up and running.
It will take a bit of time to circulate like this one, but I feel it will be worthwhile. http://boerwar.forumotion.com/
