Ulundi there werent any Generals at Intombi ! . Capt Moriarty was the highest ranking officer involved in the battle of the Intombi River .

90th Crealock was just being flippant when addressed the Zulus.

CTSG I dont think so , I think he ( Crealock ) was far from being flippant , I think he most certainly believed it , and wanted to stress that point to the zulu's , so in the future they would think twice about taking on the might of the British Army again.
