| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Sadly another actor from Zulu Dawn died today. Nigel Davenport died today aged 85, he played the part of Hamilton-Browne in the film Zulu Dawn. He was a well known face in films and television. R.I.P rai keynshamlighthorse. |

| Nigel Davenport's great uncle - Maj Matthew Meiklejohn served in the Gordon Highlanders and at Elandslaagte on 21 October 1899 was awarded the VC. Elandslaagte on the road between Ladysmith and Dundee is not too far away from Isandlwana in KZN. |

| I thought he was very good in Play Dirty alongside Michael Caine who reprised his Bromhead accent.
