| The 24th Regiment only existed from 1751 to 1782, after that (and during the AZW until 1881), it was The 24th (2nd Warwickshire) Regiment, why can't authors (and others), get this right |

| Its a fun little book with a number of official accounts and letters cobled together. There are better books around but for the price its not a bad buy. |

| As an overview its hard to beat Zulu Rising. The Red Soldier by Frank Emery is one of my Favourites in that its a collection of letters from participants. Once you start getting into the nitty gritty and the finer details theres are a myriad to choose from, Julian Whybras cant be beaten for the research into who was there. David Jacksons the best book ever published on iSandlwana. Lee Stevenson and Alan Baynhams RD by those who were there and of course John Youngs They fell like stones. If you can get your hands on those it will give a very rounded viewpoint of the two major battles. All of the above are extremely well researched and can easily form the basis for a first class collection.
After that there are so many that would fit any collectors shelves from The Red Book onwards.
