| Hi Frank,
Having read through your essay (that you kindly sent me), I feel that the hypothesis you put forward is very plausible, if not compelling.
I do feel that many authors are just putting slightly different angles on the same old story (depending on their own agenda) and that the evidence you presented has not been discussed before.
I love biltong - albeit the commercial 'kak' we get in the UK, I did source some SA imported stuff at one time.....it came in strips...not the usual 'shavings' and boy did it take some chewing.... . Happy Christmas
Cheers Sime

| As Winston said, a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. Bit hard to discern what you are going on about boys!

| Bonsoir Frank, I read your post early in the morning before you deleted it. The subject is exciting and I suspect highly controversial (it's good for the brain)! As usual, impatient to read it. Amitié Frédéric |

| Frank / Master Po It seems that some membres didn't enjoy your post. Personally, I learnt a lot in studying your posts since 8 years now. You taught me to think differently, to study the sources, only the sources. As I wrote in my previous post, you are good for my brain. So, please changes nothing and let's Dance with your next essay (you know that I mean). Amitié Frédéric / Grasshopper |

| Activity on the Eastern Plain,
Is proving to be a bloody pain,
Let's hope that once this seasons past,
We see Frank's colours nailed at last,
To that great flagpole in Natal,
And damn the rest who simply call,
Out "foul" at any brave attempt,
To add new thoughts to "our" firmament.

| Many thank's Frank for the pm.. the irony was not lost on me!. i find all the above very disturbing... if i have something to say i say it out in the open!. i have absolutely no time for ' Troll's ' in any shape or any form.. same as bully's.. coward's to the man. i have not yet read your article, there were hint's before hand that it might prove controversial, so be it, i have heard you say so many time that all aspect's of this campaign have so many differing opinion's outside of primary source's can be interpreted in many, many different way's, and boy have we not all seen so many opinion's over the year's. to think that you have authored a piece that has attracted such much venom, culminating in vile verbal abuse and even threat's is disgusting. i will look forward to reading your fresh perspective with an open mind, if i wish to respond to it i will do so in the spirit of honest debate. they are cowardly scum, reject it and move on. cheer's xhosa |

| I think your going to get your xmas wish Gary. When your opposing Captain, on the back of the last thrashing, says in an interview: : We actually weren't outplayed.......................... C'mon? Funny I was never a fan of Steve Smith, but hell hes adapted to the Captaincy role well Cheers |
