Qtr Mstr J. Ireland 3/ 60th served with the regt during the war , taking part in the advance to , and relief of Etshowe , present Gingindlovhu , the advance of Crealock's Divis to Port Durnford , and the second Advance to Ulundi . Did he survive the 1st Transvaal War ? . From memory there were many killed at Ingogo and I think Lang's Nek ? .
