Light side or not 38K seems an awful lot of money to me! I understand that the aura of RD rubs off, but there is nothing remarkable about Gunner Howards history. His papers survive but no mention is made of RD in them. I also understand that medal collecting can become an obsession and also that we are really talking about an investment. Someone is clearly willing to invest 38k but why? Take the medals out of the Bank vault, line them up and they are all exactly the same, they are indistinguishable one from another. What satisfaction is there in that? I admit to having a few myself but at times I rather think the hobby is like those fixed odds betting terminals, very addictive and probably leads to spending money you haven't got!
