Any member blatantly corresponding in a deliberate and provoking manner will be removed from the forum as quickly as possible after the event.

We are all here to communicate and enjoy the various discussions and information on the Anglo Zulu War of 1879. Opinions will vary, you will agree and disagree with one another, we will have debates, and so it goes.
There is no excuse for harassment or bullying of anyone by another person on this site.
The above applies to the main frame areas of the forum.

| Light side or not 38K seems an awful lot of money to me! I understand that the aura of RD rubs off, but there is nothing remarkable about Gunner Howards history. His papers survive but no mention is made of RD in them. I also understand that medal collecting can become an obsession and also that we are really talking about an investment. Someone is clearly willing to invest 38k but why? Take the medals out of the Bank vault, line them up and they are all exactly the same, they are indistinguishable one from another. What satisfaction is there in that? I admit to having a few myself but at times I rather think the hobby is like those fixed odds betting terminals, very addictive and probably leads to spending money you haven't got!
