Sergeant 2195 Walter C Low / Lott 17th Lancers

I can't find a Low in the 17th medal rolls but there is a sergeant W. Lott. I wonder if this is an error when the records were transcribed?
Did well for himself.

Hi All,
Nothing to link him to the 17th Lncrs and the Zulu War, Walter Charles Low No.21699 Sqd Sgt Maj 81 Coy 21st Batt Imp Yeo 2BW 1899-1902, Capt Royal Irish Regt WW1, probably born London. He dies 14 July 1948 at 'Cosmo' Carnalea nr Bangor nr Belfast, N Ireland. Opened a petshop in Bangor called Cosmo. Moved to Carnalea after the First World War.
