Did Colour Sergeant Bourne DCM, Rorke Drift Defender have a brother serve in the Anglo Zulu war by the initials W J?

There was a brother named William Bourne born Balcombe c1855 but he is shown as a Railway Platelayer living at 18 Anne Street, Brighton (unmarried).  Census 1881
