Ammunition wagon lost at Mooi river

A accident that recently occurred at the Mooi River Drift on the road between Greytown and Helpmakaar, may lead the public to be mindful of that fact that the necessity of constructing a bridge at this Drift has been over and over again urged upon the Government by Mr J.C. Boshoff and urged in vain. Now that a wagon load of ammunition has gone down the river at that point perhaps the Governmnet will think better of the matter, and do what ought to have been done years ago.
