Natal Witness 4.11.1879
A CURIOSITY - Considerable interest has been shown in Plymouth and the neighbourhood during the last few days, in a young Zulu boy who was brought to England by the 1st Battalion 13th Regiment. He is an intellectual little fellow about six years old and speaks a little English and was found by a detachment of the Regiment in a deserted kraal and taken care of by the men, as his parents could not be traced.
