Hi all

IK to write in "Isandlwana The great Zulu victory"

"Some of the 24 th running low on ammunition Were, a staff officer and a fresh supply Organised in a mule cart from the camp."

But it does not say who is this officer?

Who's who it was?

Cheers

You are a living encyclopedia, the librarian of the forum, well done ...

But according to IK, there was an officer,no two, so which one?

This man has taken a great initiative ...

Hi Pascal,

On this forum, search the message "the ammunition question" Sat Apr 25, 2009 10.50 AM author Littlehand

On "Internet" you can find Smith-Dorrien memories.

You can also read Ian Knight "Zulu Rising" or "Isandlwana and Rorke's Dift" (the "silver book" with many illustrations), Adrian Greaves "Isandlwana", David Saul "Zulu War", Peter Quantrill and Ron Lock "Isandlwana, the cover up...", Mike Snook "How can men died better" (warning: often "no footnotes" ) ....

Regard
