You do not like the stories of ragged uniforms ?

Very important, however, because people have a very wrong idea of the appearance of British imperial infantrymen in this war, they see them, nice and clean as new pennies...

Pascal,

A parade of the 80th in Pretoria in about 1877/8.  Looking very smart indeed. A shame it was photographed from the front.

Fifth Column?  I thought we were dealing with the Anglo-Zulu War rather the Spanish Civil War, best you stop reading Hemingway or quoting General Mola!

Thank you John and 1000 Bravos!

But I do not speak of the fifth column in France in 1939/40 but the No. 5 Column of the Colonel H.Rowlands ...

There may be a Zulu fifth column in the NNC !

The company of the 80 th has been shaking on the Intombi Drift , has fought the pedis in 1878 before the Zulu war ?

The infantrymen who fought the Pedis in 1878, should have their uniform shredded for their return, right ?

Cheers

Pascal
