| Hello Mr Greaves,
There was a good turnout, particularly from James Owen's descendants but I'd say there were around 80 or so people in attendance. We were really lucky with the weather & I'd like to offer my sincere thanks to all those who helped with the planning. In addition I'd like to thank Dr Mike Snook MBE (author of 'How Can Man Die Better' & 'Like Wolves on the Fold') for kindly agreeing to say a few words at the beginning of the ceremony.
Most of all, a huge thank you to South Wales Monuments Ltd for their generous donation of such a superb memorial.
Regards,
Tim |
