This is a long article but well worth reading. For those of us who regularly visit the battlefields there is a good description of the location of the cave where the Zulu sniper was hidden who killed Ronald Campbell.

Natal Witness 20th August 1881
Both the Major General Commanding and the Chief of Staff are expected to leave for Zululand about 18th inst. The following troops will proceed with them under the command of Col. Luck C.B.:- one squadron of 14th, one squadron of 15th Hussars and one squadron of 6th Dragoons. They will be absent about three weeks. Lady Florence and Sir Beaumont Dixie accompany the column
