No One Has Ever Found Cartridge Cases Up There Empty
PostSubject: No One Has Ever Found Cartridge Cases Up There   No One Has Ever Found Cartridge Cases Up There EmptyWed Apr 06, 2011 1:30 pm

Hi All

I have been asked to post the following photograph and the following test.

It's taken up on the ridge where Mostyn and Cavaye were, looking eastwards along the line of the crest of the high-ground (so iSandlwana is down below off to the right). Of course the positions are only approximate - we don't know exactly where Dyson, Mostyn and Cavaye formed up. Surprisingly no one has ever found cartridge cases up there - although at one stage there were some Zulu homesteads up here which probably altered the top-soil (note the watering hole too where a modern farmer has damned the run-off for his cattle).
